Stone: Steps
At the M. O'Mahoney Company, we carry a variety of stone products that are used for either step treads or step risers.
Step Risers are material that incorporates step treads and risers together. There is no separation of the two and typically these items are set in place with heavy duty equipment.
Step Treads are material that are typically used to top sets of stairs. The riser or bottom portion will be made from concrete, brick, or stone and the top portion or tread is cemented or adhered on to it separately.
